
We have undertaken a detailed Data Analysis exercise on the entire Hansard of Tynwald, House of Keys and Legislative Council for the period 1988 – 2019.
62,049,213 words.
The exercise has generated some fantastic insights, interesting trends and some hidden gems. It also made us laugh a few times too.
Our team has loaded the data into our analysis platform and through a combination of queries, scripting, text analysis, topic extraction, information extraction, cloud platforms, data visualisation and AI – we can look at the Island’s parliamentary records in a whole different light!

This data can be correlated against other data sources such as economic indicators, external factors, world events, unemployment, population, tenures, etc.
